Through its engagement with Van Ness Feldman, Enerkem was instrumental in launching an advocacy effort in Washington on behalf of the cellulosic ethanol industry. As a result of our advocacy efforts, Enerkem was awarded a $50 million biorefinery demonstration grant from DOE and an $80 million loan guarantee through USDA’s Biorefinery Assistance program.
