Bellevue Convention Center Project

Van Ness Feldman was integrally involved in real estate and land use services for the $37 million Bellevue Convention Center project, initially for the City of Bellevue and later for the Bellevue Convention Center Authority.  The firm’s involvement included the initial feasibility analysis, site acquisition negotiation, negotiation of a long-term ground lease for the facility, acquisition and defense of land use regulatory permits and approvals, consultation involving environmental remediation at the site, and resolution of title and closing issues. Van Ness Feldman also represented the Authority in the negotiation and drafting of complex set of easement and operational agreements to integrate the project with the three million square foot mixed office, retail and residential project that has been developed contiguous to the Meydenbauer Center.
