Shannon Angielski was quoted in The Bureau of National Affair's World Climate Change Report on carbon capture and storage research projects focusing on power plants and their significant emission of carbon dioxide saying, "They are the main users of fossil fuels."  She added that it is common in some processes to separate emission streams of carbon dioxide or other substances for reuse and that separation of carbon dioxide for storage underground may become more common.
