Van Ness Feldman is advising the client on several projects related to exportation of U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG). The firm provides public policy advice to the client regarding its applications to the U.S. Department of Energy and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for authority to export LNG and to construct and operate the related liquefaction facilities, as well as regulatory counseling regarding open access requirements, precedent agreements and tariff changes in connection with the interconnected upstream pipeline’s application to FERC to deliver natural gas to the export terminal.
