The Large Public Power Council (LPPC) is composed of 26 of the largest locally owned and controlled not for profit power systems in the United States. Member utilities own and operate a diverse portfolio of fossil, nuclear, hydropower, and other renewable energy sources.
Van Ness Feldman serves as legal counsel and strategic advisor to the LPPC Environmental Task Force regarding all federal regulatory and legislative developments of importance to the electric power sector. In our role, we provide LPPC with legal analysis of major federal environmental developments including Congressional and regulatory activities and court decisions. The firm prepares legal comments on regulatory proposals issued by the Environmental Protection Agency that may affect its members. We also provide members with legal guidance for compliance with environmental regulations.
