We are pleased to welcome Michael Platner to the Van Ness Feldman team as Senior Tax Counsel.  Michael is a CPA and an honors graduate of the University of Texas Law School.  Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as Tax Director for the American Petroleum Institute.  His career began as a CPA with a major accounting firm, focused on federal tax policy and implementation.  In 1988, Michael became Tax and International Trade Counsel for the late Senator John Chafee (R-RI), who was a Member of the Senate Finance Committee.  The firm is delighted to add Michael’s impressive capabilities to the services we provide to clients.
