Nakia Arrington, an Associate in the firm's Litigation and Native Affairs practice groups, will be honored by joining the Native American Women Warriors Association during the White House's Tribal Nations Summit on December 6th, as a member of the colorguard.

The Tribal Nations Summit honors the Nation-to-Nation relationships the United States has with Tribal Nations. The Summit brings Tribal leaders and top Executive Branch officials together to address critical issues facing Tribal communities.

"Nakia dedicated 20 years to service in the United States Marine Corps, and her participation in NAWW reflects her continuing commitment to Native American women warriors. We are proud to call Nakia our colleague, inspired by her service, and excited that she is serving as a member of the color guard at the Tribal Nations Summit!" said Native Affairs practice coordinator Andrew VanderJack.
