His deep expertise in politics, policy, and communications allows him to help clients identify legislative and regulatory opportunities and craft strategies that successfully advance their goals.
Grant’s policy career began in the U.S. Senate, where he worked for Senate Democratic Leader Charles E. Schumer of New York, overseeing the Senator’s appropriations and grants portfolio. He went on to serve as the lead appropriations, energy, and natural resources policy advisor to Congressman Ron Barber (D-AZ) and as Legislative Director to Congresswoman Norma Torres (D-CA), managing her work on the House Natural Resources Committee. After his time on Capitol Hill, Grant held government affairs roles at the British Embassy in Washington and Underwriters Laboratories, focusing on federal funding, energy, and natural resources policy and regulation.
