As part of The Bipartisan Policy Center’s Nuclear Waste Initiative, BPC is releasing a series of issue briefs and infographics breaking down the current state of play on key issues in the debate around nuclear waste. The launch of this effort comes as Congress prepares to take up energy legislation in the months ahead.  The first two installments, Options for Consolidated Storage of Nuclear Waste and States’ Authority to Regulate Nuclear Waste, were released on Thursday, July 30th and were prepared by Mike McBride and Bob Nordhaus.
