The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Memphis Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Plant project at the Memphis, TN VA Medical Center (VAMC). This is a Design-Bid-Build project. This Combined Heat and Power Plant project for the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee is for an 800 kW natural gas fired reciprocating generator with a supplementary fired exhaust gas heat recovery 100 psi steam boiler with an engine jacket water heat recovery by way of liquid heat exchangers to supply the boiler plant pre-heat, heating hot water and domestic hot water.
