WASHINGTON, DC – Van Ness Feldman, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Joseph Hainline to the firm’s nationally recognized Pipeline Safety practice.
Joe joins the firm after seven years at the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), where he most recently served as a Senior Attorney Advisor in the agency’s Office of Chief Counsel. Joe brings to the firm a depth of experience on enforcement, litigation, and regulatory policy matters. In particular, Joe advised PHMSA on the development of significant new pipeline safety regulations that affect many pipeline operators. Before joining PHMSA, Joe had a successful career in private practice where he focused on complex civil litigation and criminal matters.
