Katherine represents clients in a variety of real estate transactional matters. Her experience includes financing for construction and land acquisition; representing landlords and tenants in commercial leasing matters; and the purchase and sale of commercial property. Katherine has prior experience as bond, disclosure, and outside counsel to state agencies and housing authorities, where she represented issuers in connection with tax-exempt and taxable bond financings of affordable housing in combination with federal tax credits, exempt facilities, and nonprofit capital projects.
Previously, Katherine practiced civil litigation for several years at large international and boutique firms, allowing her to bring a unique perspective and creative approach to her transactional work. In addition, Katherine served as a law clerk to the Honorable David R. Thompson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. During law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
